BOOK TEASER - BELOW!
Hi beautiful,
Maybe you’re here because you’re in pain. Maybe you’ve left, or you’re still trying to leave. Maybe you’re just trying to breathe through the weight of it all. If you’re feeling lost, broken, or like no one could possibly understand what you’ve been through—I want you to know: you are not alone.
I know the darkness intimately.
There was a time I had no choice but to flee my home country, Australia. Alone. Still being hunted. Everything and everyone I loved was 17,000kms away. I became—against all odds—a refugee in Canada. I’m likely the first Australian to ever be granted refugee status. That’s how bad it was.
I narrowly escaped becoming another domestic homicide statistic after being held against my will and nearly murdered by the man I once loved. At 24, I started over with nothing. No money, no family, no certainty. Just trauma, fear, and the tiniest flicker of hope.
And from that rock bottom… I rebuilt.
It was lonely. It was heavy. It was soul-crushing at times. But piece by piece, I created a life that feels truly mine. One that’s safe. One that’s whole. One that I’m proud of.
Now it’s my mission to be the voice I so desperately needed back then.
Because I know how it feels to ask:
Where do I even begin?
Who am I now, beneath all this pain, shame, and self-doubt?
How do I create a life that feels like mine again?
That’s why I wrote this book.
Be The One That Got Away & Got Her Sh*t Together is more than just a book—it’s a healing journey. A permission slip. A safe space. A guide back home to yourself.
Inside, you’ll find pieces of my story woven with powerful insights, raw truths, and guided journal prompts that meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re freshly broken or slowly rising. This isn’t about telling you who to become. It’s about helping you remember who you’ve always been.
You don’t have to stay small, scared, or stuck in survival mode. You can break the cycle. You can reclaim your identity. You can take your power back.
And you? You can be the one that got away—and got her sh*t together.
